Pull it right to open the doors and then turn the page. Walk up to the doors and drag the crest from your inventory to the broken seal on the gate. Turn the page back to exit the well and walk left to return to the double gates. Pull tab one, then two, then three to get the crest piece. Stand in the hotspot in front of the well and turn the page to see inside.
Go right and walk down the staircase until you get to the well. In the next area, climb the two staircases and enter the hotspot beneath the red gate. Climb the steps and walk into the hotspot on the floor. The wolves will fall asleep, so you can now backtrack to the staircase and. Pull them in order of the lowest note to the highest (or just follow the numbers in the screenshot above). So, keep walking right (the wolf on the ridge will follow you) until you get to a tree with four chimes. The wolf won't let you open the staircase to the upper area.
