Stewart's entire career has been dedicated to the treatment of addiction, involving teaching, research, clinical work, and social advocacy. He is also a certified group psychotherapist with the International Registry of Group Psychotherapy.ĭr. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (Psychosomatic Medicine), American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (Addiction Psychiatry), and the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (General Psychiatry). Stewart is the training director of the Addiction Psychiatry Residency Training Program at the University of Louisville and is the Director of the Addictions Program at the UofL Physicians Outpatient Center.
